As I was ready to leave the tourney last night, I couldn't find my flip-flops, but I did find a random pair of size 11s nearby. They are too small, but they got me home at least. If anyone happens to read this that went home with a pair of too-big gray flip-flops, let me know because I probably have yours!
Back in the late 90's we paid it independently (annual fee) and then I think we got it through the AVA (which, like AVPNext, was per player) - and they also gave us volleyballs. Which our insurance company did not.
There are a lot of local organizations out there that just lost their AVPNext umbrella. Is anyone attempting to step in and pick up the slack?
Nah, we're good, no need to raise fees. The only prob we are going to have is the AVP insurance expires in October they told us and we'll need to line up our own going forward, not sure how much that will be since we have always been under their umbrella. But I don't see it being too bad.
Great comment Blake! Just as long as your paying Ha haaaa! I do think it would be fine to raise the fees. I also think it's cool that the guy (Kent Steffes) that sued the AVP is trying to save it. Why not!!
